I also have art training from college. We live in a rural area and enjoy the woods, fields and the abundant wildlife near our home. My hobbies include photography, gardening, reading, knitting, and genealogy. We love music and film. I love color. Though I have an appreciation and love of black and white photography, most of my photos are splashed with color. Color makes me happy. My love of color is another reason to garden. And to photograph my garden to enjoy all year. My cameras: The earliest photos I uploaded onto Flickr were taken with an Olympus Camedia D-450. Then I used my husband's Olympus Camedia C-4040. As of November 2005, I have used my new camera, a Canon EOS Rebel XT. I also use a telephoto lens, and a macro lens. As of early August, 2006, my macro lens is a Sigma 105 mm. Nice lens.
